Southern comfort has always guided me. Not the whiskey and liqueur combo, but the philosophy when working with design and decor. You know, that deep appreciation for your great-great-great grandmother’s fine European silver brought overseas on the Nina or Pinta, but being displayed on the mid century glass top coffee table you found at the flea market in Canton, Mississippi? That kind of Southern comfort.

It can be a mixture of fine furnishings, personal pieces, and family heirlooms mixed with color, sophistication, and attitude. Events can be relaxed, yet still have a little “over the top” décor to add some glitter and glitz. Regardless, your event will be planned with creativity and care. This has always been my approach to decorating.

It should always be your style, your dream, and your flair. Yet it must always be refined and lovely to view. Your spaces should simply be fun…and all about you.
